  • Applicants must seek funding for the same proposal from various sources.
  • All requests from universities and colleges should be approved by the university or colleges development office and submitted by the development office.
  • Due to the number and magnitude of grant requests received each year, the Foundation cannot respond favorably to all grant requests. Grants are made without any commitment to future support of operations or specific projects.

*By proceeding, you agree that you understand the grant guidelines.

Have you received funding from the Abell-Hanger Foundation in the past 24 months?

  • Create a login. If you are unsure if a current login exists for the organization, please contact us.
  • For the February 2025 grant cycle, please provide us with your Intent to Apply or Letter of Intent (LOI) before Monday, December 9, 2024.
  • Create a login and submit a Pre-Proposal Questionnaire (PPQ). The PPQ is designed to save the applicant and the Foundation time by providing us with a brief and concise case summary. PPQs allow our trustees to determine their level of interest.
  • If interest is shown, you will be provided with instructions regarding the submission deadline.
  • You will also be notified if there was no interest in reviewing a full application and the PPQ was declined.
  • PPQs are reviewed every 4-6 weeks. Organizations may not apply for the same or similar projects more than once within the Foundation’s fiscal year (7/1-6/30).
  • If your PPQ is declined, you must wait 12 months before reapplying.
  • To be considered for the February 2025 grant cycle, please provide us with your PPQ before Friday, November 29, 2024.
